Brief Description of the Service(s) You Offer:
TeenScreen is a computerized emotional health screening program developed by Columbia University. It's designed to identify risk factors associated with depression, anxiety, alcohol and substance abuse and suicide. The TeenScreen staff believes that the physcial and mental health of young people plays a key role in their ability to succeed in school, have rewarding relationships with family members and friends and lead productive happy lives. TeenScreen is offered to ninth graders in the majority of high schools thoroughout Fond du Lac County. This program is free and confidential and requires both the student and parent's permission. If you are interested in learning more about the TeenScreen program, please contact the TeenScreen staff or the guidance office at your child's school.

Hours of Service:
TeenScreen staff are availiable Monday through Thursday during the academic school year.
Services That You Offer to Clients Whose First Language is Other Than English:
This program offers a computerized Spainish version of the screen. TeenScreen staff utilitizes school intrepreters.
Other Information That Should be Included to Describe Your Organization:
The TeenScreen program is supported by foundations and local communities. It is operated as a non-profit public service and accepts individual donations to help provide free screening services to local communities. The program receives no funding from pharmaceutical companies.
