School-based adolescent emotional health screening in Fond du Lac County began in 2002, when Fond du Lac High School became the first site in Wisconsin to pilot the TeenScreen protocol. Eleven years later, in the Fall of 2013,  the program’s title was formally trademarked and changed to Fond du Lac Area YScreen.

Screening site expansion has continued over the years (see Site Expansion Flowchart). The partnerships between YScreen and these school districts are vital to the success of the program.
