History & Impact of YScreen

History

  • Screening started in 2002 as TeenScreen. Program name was trademarked and changed to Fond du Lac Area YScreen in 2013
  • Fond du Lac High School was the first screening site in Wisconsin
  • Screening site expansion has continued over the years; screening is currently offered at 12 public, private and charter schools as well as through Fond du Lac County Juvenile Court Services

Impact (over the past 19 years)

  • Over 15,300 students have been screened
  • More than 3,000 students have received a referral for further evaluation
  • Approximately 1,800 students have been connected with services
