QPR Suicide Prevention Training

Question, Persuade, Refer

Three simple steps that could save a life!

We are currently able to offer QPR both in-person and virtually!

Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) is a suicide prevention training that prepares people to recognize a potential suicide crisis, respond in a safe and supportive way, and assist the individual in obtaining the help they need.

The training is 60-90 minutes and is taught in a format that is applicable for a wide variety of audiences, including workplace staff/administrators, faith based groups, social service organizations — any group of individuals who want to learn basic skills to help someone in emotional distress and possibly save a life. All participants receive an informational booklet and copy of the PATHWAYS TO CARE guide for accessing local mental health resources. More information about QPR is available here.

More than 2,000 individuals in Fond du Lac County have attended a QPR training since 2019!
