Sleep Loss and Emotion Regulation

Did you know sleep deprivation can make it difficult to regulate your emotions?

Studies found that humans have evolved to spend roughly one-third of our lifetime sleeping. Ideally, everyone should sleep about 8 hours a night. This will help your mind and body function successfully. Those with a less sleep can be experiencing a lack of emotional regulation by the brain’s amygdala.

Tip: Try going to bed just 10 minutes earlier every night.
