Resources and reminders about driving responsibly this holiday season

The busy holiday travel season, starting at Thanksgiving, brings an increase in crashes and fatalities. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has information and resources about safe driving, and is reminding everyone this holiday season to practice responsible driving behaviors. Drive sober, drive at a safe speed, avoid texting, wear seat belts properly, and ensure children are buckled in the right seats for their ages and sizes. NHTSA’s safe driving campaigns also encourage sober driving and can be used in local efforts to curb risky driving during the holidays.
