QPR at the YMCA

Since early 2019, the Destination Zero suicide prevention initiative has partnered with the Fond du Lac Family YMCA to host QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) suicide prevention trainings which are open to the public and FREE to all.

To register, simply fill out the form below.

QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) is a practical and proven suicide prevention training. In just 90 minutes this training aims to empower attendees, regardless of their background, to make a positive difference in the life of someone they know by teaching them the common causes of suicidal behavior, warning signs, and three simple steps that can be used to help someone in crisis.

Upcoming Training:

  • April 13th from 5:30-7:00pm
  • June 8th from 5:30-7:00pm
  • August 10th from 5:30-7:00pm

Due to COVID-19 safety restrictions, sessions will be held virtually until it is safe to gather in-person.

Child Watch child care is available for attendees (including non-members) of in-person sessions. CLICK HERE for more information about Child Watch.
