Most of the damage to our self-esteem is self-inflicted.
The more meaningful and specific the self-esteem is to you, the more it impacts your general feelings of self-worth. When our self-esteem is higher, then we are less affected by stress and anxiety. For those with a higher self-esteem, they will experience failure and be able to recover more quickly.
Tip: Work your strengths. Do something you’re good at to build self-confidence, then tackle a tougher task.
