The Key to Good Sleep

Did you know a lack of melatonin in the brain makes it harder to fall and stay asleep?

Melatonin, also called the sleep hormone, is a naturally made hormone that helps the body know when it is time to relax and go to sleep.

It works closely with your body’s circadian rhythm to help prepare you for sleep and levels rise at night-time.

Melatonin may support eye health, ease tinnitus symptoms, treat stomach ulcers and heartburn, increase growth hormone levels in young men and help with seasonal depression.

Parents – Have your kids turn their phone off at least an hour before bed; instead have them pick up a book (just make sure it’s not their Chromebook).
